Greyhound racing is bent and there are lots of gambles set up in this sport as the prize money is very low. I make money betting greyhounds but I exclusively study the markets and look for certain 'set-ups'. There is no other way to do it in my opinion. What this guy is describing is just basic stuff that's generally already factored into the market. That said though, if you can get early odds from bookmakers then yes it is possible to make money obviously, but then you don't need any of this stuff if you can get early prices with bookies. You can just watch the exchanges, if a dog is going to get an easy lead and has good splits it will get backed accordingly.

Dogs are only allowed a 1Kilo variation from their last run. All trainers have scales & will tell you it imperative as they know at what weight their dogs perform at..... Yes they can, and within a legal framework. You see they are not really bookies anymore, but more like marketing companies advertising all this stuff which they don't really provide. Win and you're out the door. Lose and they will make very little effort to restrict you. Have you tried using bet connect as a way of getting the bets on?

I've always thought sports betting would really suit me: I have a similar attitude towards working for another person/company as you, love sports, love data and figures. Like you eluded to, my issues are strong loss aversion and that feeling of the bookies still having a fair bit of control over you regarding banning, max bets etc. Found your channel through my passion for boxing a few years ago, so of course I would enjoy any further boxing content... but all sports are interesting for me. Odds saved me from betting on Wilder v Parker and Makhmudov v Kabayel!

Just a thought, i assumed that if you only lay or back and it was a draw you would win on the lay bet, as i understand that a lay is that something isnt going to happen so he didnt win.I might be wrong but this is my understanding and the same for Football.

I had literally always wondered/presumed this would be possible. Even more so on exchange markets where bookies are obviously less concerned about you winning. Sadly, the only live sporting events I had got to were ones I wanted to go to enjoy socially and not have the stress of "working" it per say. Also feel like for all larger events, EPL matches for example, each betting company will also have a live rep there suspending markets instantly to prevent anyone else getting an edge. Would just have to be your snooker/tennis etc. and at the more obscure events.
